A + 0 = A = 0 + A
Additive Identity: A + 0 = A = 0 + AExplanation :- Zero has an Additive Identity for Whole Numbers, i.e. whenever Zero is added to any whole number (A), the final number is also equal to the given whole number (A). A + 0 = A = 0 + A Let us consider the following examples :- Example 1 :- 3 + 0 = 3 Example 2 :- 14 + 0 = 14 Example 3 :- 200 + 0 = 200 Example 4 :- 0 + 31 = 31 Example 5 :- 0 + 999 = 999 Suppose, I have 5 apples and someone gives me 0 apples, then how many apples do I have now. I still have 5 apples. Hence, we can say that 5 + 0 = 5. In general terms, if I have 'A' apples and someone gives me '0' apples, then how many apples do I have now. I still have 'A' apples.
