Introduction to Adjectives

An adjective is a vital part of a sentence. A word that describes a noun is called an adjective. An adjective is basically a describing word that is generally put before a noun which it modifies. Adjectives are important parts of speech which give us more information about the object.
Hence, an adjective tells us more about the characteristics of an object.
Lets take a look at the following phrases:-
'the long table' the word long is an adjective because it describes the table.
'the white flower' the word white is an adjective because it describes the flower.
